Nagami Kumquats are easygoing, shrubby fruit trees, with a malleable approach to growth. They make awesome subjects for espalier, which is sort of like the fruiting tree gardener’s version of crop circles. Kumquats aren’t too fussy about care. They tolerate a range of soils with a simple preference for good drainage. Nagami Kumquat produces a bounty of orange, oval-shaped fruit with a sweet flavor and pulpy texture. Experts say the fruits of Nagami Kumquats are best eaten right off the tree. How could we disagree with that logic?
